Q .Do I need to follow the same rules and guidelines of Indie Club? A. Yes .....ie: $10 entry including a CD. You guarantee to purchase a minimun of 5x CD's from each of the other bands also playing on the night at $6 an EP and $10 an album. You need to run the night and cover all the costs of putting the night on....for example. PA hirage, advertising etc.

Q. Can I choose the Indie Club CD's? A. No ..... However you will receive a variety eg: if you order 20x cds, you will get 20x different titles. Note: Amongst them, there will be both eps and albums, some will be gems.

Q. Does my Indie Club have to be in Auckland ? A. No ..... you can run your Indie Club anywhere, worldwide.

Q. Will Indie Club exchange my cds regardless of them being all the same title and what happens to them ? A.Yes. We will sell them through our Alien Shop and also supply them to other Indie Clubs.

Q. Do I need to advise you of details of my Indie Club ? A. Yes .....it is important for us to list your show. We also expect a high standard of professionalism at all times.

Q. Do I need to pay Indie Club for the use of the name and system ? A. No... you as the organiser will keep whatever profit you generate.

Q. What does Powertool Records get out of it ? A. I will receive some new cds that I can sell at Alien and add variety to the Indie Clubs I run. I also see it as a way of getting cds into people hands ie: an alternative form of distribution. All the projects I do are connected. By starting this scheme, besides helping my Indie Club, I also help my retail outlet Alien obtain more stock. With Powertool, it is an opportunity to move old/excess stock. I'd rather they had peoples homes as opposed to sitting on my shelves. It's very much a win,win,win situation.
