The Kaleidoscope World Series is an event where you experience and sample up to ten bands in one night doing short showcase sets. It's about exposure, expanding bands audiences and broadening patrons experiences of what's happening in the "live" music scene.This is an ideal opportunity to discover new talent. Upon entry, each patron receives a sampler compilation cd featuring all the artists appearing on the night. The Kaleidoscope World Series began in 2003 at the magnificent Ambassador Theatre Pt Chevalier. The event was so successful that it continued on to become a regular mainstay in the New Zealand music scene and to this point have staged twenty four shows throughout the country. Around 250 different acts have played Kaleidoscopes, many going on to very successful musical careers. This event will be supported by an advertising campain on radio and print. It will also appear in all the gig guides and be promoted by a major poster run.PA, lighting, security,soundman, backline and liase staff will all be provided. | After close to two years Kaleidoscope World Series returns and it's a double whammy. Series 25 is scheduled to take place on Saturday the 23rd May 2009 and Series 26, a week later on the 30th.It's happening both nights at the Masonic Tavern in Devonport, Auckland. |
