The Lovehaters are 2 kids from melbourne living in dunedin. They are a sonic assault coming to a dancefloor near you. Armed with dance-worthy rock and roll beats, noisy guitar and bone shakin synths the lovehaters are an explosion of attitude and lo-fi electro rock badness! They formed in 2002 as a vehicle for their shared love of no wave and experimental music. They have been writing and playing their brand of rock and roll under various names and with varied line ups since then. Relocating to dunedin in October of 2005, the lovehaters have been building a reputation with kickin live shows and ever changing sets keeping their audience waiting for more and wondering whats next.

The lovehaters are Rata Munro: guitar and vocals and Kiki Romantik: vocals, synths and sampled beats. With their ep out now on Powertool Records they have plans to tour the country and get the love/hate machine into action..!
