This is a gig focused on promoting good music both live and recorded. The entry price includes a FREE CD,our main focus is to get cds into peoples hands. We cover all the costs of putting the show on i.e.advertising, production, time, cds etc. There is no payment for playing, however if you bring cds on the night, the Indie Club will buy a quantity to add to the mix of cds available on the door. We buy albums for $10, eps for $6 or samplers/demos for $5. Note: CD's need to be presentable i.e.: with a cover and a printed disc. Much of the time the patrons are buying cds on how they look and if they look like bad, they won't sell. We will guarantee to buy at least 5 cds regardless if they sell or not on the night..... more if the turnout is good. In order for you to get the most out of the Indie Club, it is important to have your cds in the mix available on the door. At present we are booking Live Bar, Auckland City every Thursday. We are also booking The Masonic (Devonport) each month (the last Friday of the month). Check the Indie Club page for details of upcoming dates. We also intend to book other venues from time to time. Pack in times: 7.00PM -8.00PM. If you require info such as setup, please email us as each venue varies. Live Bar set times are 40 minutes, Masonic is 30 minutes. Please bring all backline, unless stated before the gig. Remember to invite your Friends/Fans/Family because no-one likes to play to an empty room. If you have special requirements, please discuss this before you book. If you need to cancel please let us know asap. Finding out on the day that you cannot do it is totally unfair and unacceptable. When booking, please provide the following information. Name, Contact person, Email address, Phone number. Ways to promote the gig and your band or Act: Myspace Bulletins, Facebook, Emails/TXT's, Personal Invites, Posters Flyers. Pre-Sale Tickets: Here's how it works ..... For every two pre-sales purchased at $10 each, you receive one extra ticket free. eg: if you buy 10x tickets you get an extra 5x FREE. Each ticket entitles the patron to entry plus a FREE CD. For a small committment in time you will get your money back with a healthy profit. I'm happy to take cds in leiu of cash. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to contact me via email. Tickets will be emailed to you or direct to your patron.
